The project

Minca Retreat is originally a farm in the Sierra Nevada in Colombia who manages to be self -sufficient in energy (hydraulic turbine), food (more than 1000 fruits trees, gardens, chicken coop) and drinking water (from a spring).
On site, tours are organized to teach how to make your chocolate from local cacao, discover fauna and flora among the richest in the world, as well as swimming in the waterfall located on the land.
The location also offers unusual accommodation in indigenous hut with sea views, via Airbnb.

Soon, the yoga shala will be built on the Mirador, which would be able to accommodate yoga, detox, medicinal plants, ayurveda, faune and flore retreats ... up to 10 people.

Minca Retreat is a 30 -minute walk from the center of the village of Minca.


Minca is a small village at 650m altitude, 40 minutes from the Caribbean Sea, known for its ecological dimension, as a starting point for the Lost City, but also for its remote jungle hostels, some of the most famous in South America.
Minca is easily accessible from Cartagena or Santa Marta airports.
As for the Sierra Nevada, it's the world's highest coastal mountain range, with 2 peaks at over 5700m altitude, the Simon Bolivar and Cristobal Colon mountains, overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
For the sportier people, there's a multitude of hikes on offer, as well as canyoning, biking...
