Minca Retreat is a project born from the dream to create a place to call home in the Sierra Nevada of Colombia.
We are building a complete self-sufficiency retreat, where all the food is provided by the land and electricity and water comes from the farm. This way, we want to share the powerful energy of this place and connect people through yoga retreats, medicinal plant ceremonies, digital out retreats, trekking expeditions, and so much more. A place where everything is possible and inspiration can flow freely between the hundreds of avocado trees, banana trees, malanga, yucca...
Minca Retreat lays surrounded by the green mountains of the Sierra Nevada, which is also called the heart of the world. It is the highest coastal mountain with its 2 pics Simón Bolivar and Cristóbal Colon, at an altitude of more than 5700m at 42 kms of the Caribbean coast.
Located in this magical landscape, Minca Retreat is a beautiful 2 hectares of land with a river and a waterfall at the bottom, and a view of the Caribbean Sea at the top.
A place holding so much tranquility and peace, but still only a 30 minute walk to the center of Minca.
As a small mountain village high up in the Sierra Nevada, Minca is known for its ecological spirit and is a travel destination that specializes in ultra remote retreats. It is easily accessible from the popular northern cities of Cartagena or Santa Marta.
